Young academics research 'Turkey-Sweden ties'
Sweden became NATO's 32nd member at the beginning of March, completing the accession process to which Turkey also gave its consent. Young academics have launched a new project to help Swedish and Turkish societies understand each other better. Academics and independent researchers can contribute to the project.

Sweden joined NATO as the 32nd member in early March, following the approval of Turkey and other member states. Young academics who believe that both countries and societies need to understand each other in a deeper way, especially during the process of Sweden's accession to NATO, have launched the project "Scandinavian Charm and Anatolian Heritage: Nordic Charm and Anatolian Legacy: Exploring the ties between Sweden and Turkey". Within the scope of the project, which will be carried out in cooperation with the Swedish Association of Turkish University Students and Academics (TSAF), which brings together students and academics of Turkish origin living in Sweden, and the Tomorrow's Culture platform, which publishes with the slogan "the Turkish social sciences website of those who inherit the present", the historical and socio-political ties between Sweden and Turkey will be explored.
