President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The two leaders held a joint press conference after the meeting. President Erdoğan said, "No diplomatic step has been taken that can come close to the negotiation table we set up in Istanbul in March 2022 to establish peace. From the very beginning, we have contributed and are contributing our best to end the war on the basis of negotiations. We are also ready to host a peace summit including Russia."
