Mass grave found in Khojaly
Azerbaijani Presidential Deputy Hikmet Hajiyev announced that a mass grave was found in Khojaly. "Another mass grave has been found in Khojaly. Perhaps it is divine justice that on the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide committed on February 26, 1992, the remains of these nameless and innocent civilian victims were found."

Hikmet Hajiyev said in a statement today that another mass grave was found in Khojaly before the anniversary of the Khojaly massacre on February 26, "Another mass grave was found in Khojaly. Perhaps it is divine justice that the remains of these nameless and innocent civilian victims were found on the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide committed on February 26, 1992. Their identities will be determined by DNA analysis. Approximately 4,000 Azerbaijanis are believed to be missing as a result of Armenia's military aggression. Armenia refuses to provide information on the location of the mass graves where the mass murdered Azerbaijanis are buried.

Any act of a state that violates international law entails the international responsibility of that state under international law.

The Republic of Armenia bears state responsibility for the Khojaly genocide and other unjust acts against Azerbaijan. The Republic of Armenia has not yet apologized to the Azerbaijani people and state for the 30-year military occupation and especially for the Khojaly genocide."
