Turkey's first space traveler goes to ISS with Falcon 9
NASA announced the program of the journey of the Axiom Mission 3 (Ax-3) crew, including Turkey's first space traveler Alper Gezeravcı, to the International Space Station (ISS).

NASA announced that the Ax-3 crew, consisting of F-16 pilot Alper Gezeravcı from Turkey, Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria from the USA, Pilot Walter Villadei from Italy and European Space Agency astronaut Swedish Marcus Wandt, was born on January 17 at 17.11 Florida time. He stated that after launching the Falcon 9 rocket in (01.11 Turkey time), he will go to the ISS in orbit with the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. The team will work on the ISS for 14 days.

FALCON 9 ROCKET

Falcon 9, designed by SpaceX, owned by US entrepreneur Elon Musk, is a rocket with reusable and launch features. The Falcon 9 spacecraft can go into orbit in two stages. For this two-stage ascent capability, the Falcon 9 has rocket engines containing liquid oxygen and rocket-grade koracene as power and fuel. Falcon 9 can carry payloads weighing 13 tons in low Earth orbit.
