Death toll rises to 2,122 in Morocco earthquake
The number of people killed in the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Morocco increased to 2,122 and the number of injured increased to 2,421.

In a written statement made by the Moroccan Interior Ministry, it was stated that the number of people who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in the El-Huz region increased to 2,122 and the number of injured people increased to 2,421. In the statement made yesterday, it was stated that 1404 people were seriously injured.

The ministry also announced that search and rescue teams from Spain, Qatar, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates will be operating in the earthquake zone.
