"The German Air Force has sent fighter jets to Iceland to train in the Arctic as part of Exercise Rapid Viking 2023. The exercise aims to demonstrate Germany's readiness and ability to rapidly deploy air power anywhere. Six Eurofighters and two A400M transport aircraft will work with the Icelandic Coast Guard and other regional allies from 1 to 10 August. The Eurofighters will conduct eight training sorties each day."
