UK Prime Minister Starmer in Kiev to sign ‘100 Years of Partnership’ agreement
UNITED KINGDOM, (DHA) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has travelled to Kiev to sign the ‘100-Year Partnership’ agreement with Ukraine to improve cooperation between the two countries.

According to the statement made by the British Prime Minister's Office Number 10, the ‘100-Year Partnership’ agreement will be signed between the UK and Ukraine today. The agreement aims to deepen cooperation in non-defence and cultural fields, especially in defence. In this context, students in 100 schools in the two countries will both get to know the culture of the other side and develop reading habits through the texts they read.

In the statement, it was stated that Starmer will announce a £ 40 million package to improve Ukraine's economy, ensure the release of hundreds of millions of pounds of loans, and support small and medium-sized enterprises. In the statement, it was also reported that the UK has provided 12.8 billion pounds sterling in aid to Ukraine so far, of which 7.8 billion pounds sterling is military support and 3 billion pounds sterling is military aid.
