Established in Kahramanmaraş to thank Azerbaijan for its help and support after the earthquakes of 6 February, the Azerbaijan Quarter is being built on 15,510 bored piles with a total length of 197 kilometres. Mayor of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Hayrettin Güngör said that 100 million dollars of the neighbourhood to be built on 320 decares of land was covered by Azerbaijan.
