YILDIRIM DEMİRÖREN WE ARE BECOMING THE OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF SULTANS LEAGUE AND NATIONAL WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM

Yıldırım Demirören, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Demirören Holding, congratulated the Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team, which became the European champion by realising a first, and used the following expressions:

"First of all, as a Turkish citizen, I would like to thank them for the pride they have made each of us feel with the victories they have achieved with their struggles and hearts on the field. Firstly, they became champions in the Nations League. Again, for the first time in our volleyball history, they ranked first in the ranking of countries. With the European championship last Sunday, they once again wrote the name of the National Team in history. I believe that these successes have been achieved as a result of the investments made with the endless support and guidance of our President, the intensive efforts of our sports ministers and the devoted work of our federation president and his team for many years like embroidery. We have tried to support these valuable works with our Misli brand as the name sponsor of the Sultans League since 2020. Now, as we conclude this process, we are taking our support one step further than name sponsorship, and as of today, we are the official sponsor of both the Sultans League and the A National Women's Volleyball Team."

Yıldırım Demirören stated that as Demirören family, they have been supporting Turkish sports for years without discriminating between branches and said, "Our love and interest in volleyball started when our late father Erdoğan Demirören founded the Ankara Pazarları Volleyball Team in 1979. We, too, felt it our duty to continue the support our late father gave to sports. As Misli, we are trying to contribute to Turkish sports to the best of our ability with our main sponsorships in women's and men's basketball, Football Federation league and name sponsorships and our support to football clubs, and we will continue to do so.
